You can prevent the increase of your body weight by minimizing foods and drinks that are high in sugar, fast foods and fatty foods, and maintaining a diet of fruits and vegetables.

2. Be physically active.

Consistent physical activity is the best way to burn excess calories that can make you accumulate extra weight. You can do it by engaging in regular exercises like 30 minutes of walking, jogging, or cycling everyday.

3. Eat fruits and vegetables everyday.

Fruits and vegetables are the best foods that can keep you in perfect health and nutrition. They contain most of the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytonutrients your body needs for optimum performance and protection from cancer and other diseases.

4. Avoid processed foods and red meat.

The regular consumption of processed foods and red meats such as beef, pork, and lamb are associated to lot of diseases like cancer. You should minimize ingesting these foods and focus on eating fresh plant foods and non-fat, non-preservative containing foods instead.

5. Avoid alcohol and tobacco.

Alcohol and tobacco are the two most common elements associated to cancer. You should avoid them to ensure that your lungs, intestine, liver, and other parts of your system are not exposed to the risk of cancer and other degenerative ailments.

These are some of the ways that can help to lower your risk from cancer. They can also keep you protected from other diseases such as high blood pressure, stroke, and cardiovascular diseases.
